Setting up a default browser in Windows
Chrome and Firefox have become the most popular browsers among Windows users. The main reasons We prefer them over Microsoft Edge are, ease to use, speed, secure and they both have friendly interface.
On the other hand, the feeling we perceive, when we start using Windows, is Microsoft persuading us to use Edge, so hard, with pop ups and badges, that it becomes annoying.
It starts since the moment you attempt to download another browser (while using Edge):
When Windows 11 was released, you would have to change all the protocols, browsers are used for, one by one (*.html, http, https, *., htm and even the pdf application.
Fortunately, after the update, ‘22000.593’, released in March 2022, It became possible to set it up, at once, without having to do the individual selection.

Finally, you will see the last pop up attemtping to change your mind. Click on ’Switch anyway’ and that is it.
